If we could break down those walls to set you free, we would cause we out here, and we miss you.
If we could build a ladder that tall to come up and see you, we would cause we down here, and we miss you.
(Lupe Fiasco - Free Chilly lyrics)
This is photo was taken by my sister during her vacation on Mauritius. I was like, wow what an awesome shot you did there! Changed the whitebalance, added some contrast to the sky and fixed the sharpeness.
Hope you enjoy her result as much as i do!
P.S.: Before leaving a stupid "omg its a manip"-comment, check THIS HERE first, thanks.
The overcast clouds make the entire photo feel like a snapshot of a war-torn world, and the photo has the same mood you'd probably have if you were marching towards an important battle. (I don't really know how to describe the feeling I have right now.)
I also see several symbols in here - the clouds for oppression, the water for isolation, the tree and grass for hope in the face of the oppression, the rocks for strength... I could go on and on and on, but to avoid stealing anyone else's thunder, I won't.
